Account Types

We have three different types of account at Primal Forge, each of which is described below:

Standard:
This is the default account type that is used to order goods via the website. We use this type of account to store information that allows us to contact you and to speed up your delivery by holding your name and address. We do not hold your payment details on this website at all.

On your account details page you will also have the opportunity to indicate if you are a member of an existing LRP/re-enactment club or association, if that club has registered on the Primal Forge website. If they haven't registered as yet then please e-mail us at enquiries@primalforge.co.uk with the contact details for the organizer of that group or faction and we will contact them on your behalf about registering their group with us. Once a club has registered an account with us then you will be able to link to their account so they can start benefiting from our LRP Club contribution program (details on that program are included below).

Club Account
If you are involved in the running of an LRP/re-enactment club, association, faction or other group then you may be eligible to register for a Club Account. These club accounts have a number of attractive benefits related to them:

• Discount Pricing

The current Club Discount will be applied to every order you make using this account, and your log-in will show you the retail price and your discounted club price on every product.

The current Club discount is 10% of the order value (excluding delivery charges)

• Regular Special Offers

From time to time we will be able to offer clubs and associations a special offer on a variety of ranges that we feel may be of interest to such groups, be it costume for monster/crew parts, props or weapons etc. These offers will only be available to club accounts

• Club Contribution Program

Primal Forge runs a Club Contribution program which means that each and every time anyone who has registered with us as a member of your club/faction places an order on our site, a credit for a percentage of the value of that order is placed onto your account ? effectively giving you a cash balance to use on your future orders. This coupled with your club discount gives you the possibility of virtually free equipment to help you run your club or faction.

• Advertising

If you wish we can add a link to your site to our website to help with promoting your events

We need a little more information from you to create a club account than if you wanted a standard account, including a website address so that we can verify that you are an organization currently involved in running LRP or re-enactment events. If you don't have a website for us to view then give us a call to discuss other options.

There is no minimum order value for Club Account orders, but deliveries can only be made to the address given on the account.

Retail Account
If you run a store, be it a high street outlet, online retailer or event stall, then you may be interested in applying for a Retail Account with us.

We will need a little more information from you to allow us to verify your status as a retailer, but once approved your account will be altered so that when you log into the site you will be shown the discounted retail account price for each product. Please note that not all of our products qualify for a trade discount. Where a trade discount is available you will see both the retail price and your trade price on screen for every affected product

We like to work closely with retailers to ensure that we can offer you a range of products which allow you to offer our products at attractive prices. We may also be able to assist with advertising materials and promotions.

Retail accounts will have a minimum order value, which we can discuss with you upon receipt of your account registration request.

The Club Contribution Program
Every club/association/faction etc that has registered a Club Account at Primal Forge can automatically take advantage of our Club Contribution Program.

Registering as a club account means that all standard account owners can indicate on their account page that they are a member of your organization (they can change this to a different club at any point in time).

While they have indicated that they are a member of your organization, every time they place an order on the Primal Forge website we add an amount of cash to your account balance for you to use in future orders. If they change the club they have indicated on their account page, then nothing will change for orders they have already placed ? it will just affect orders they place going forward.

The default Club Contribution amount is presently: 5%

Example: Derek is a member of Shadows Rising LRP club. Shadows Rising has registered a club account and Derek has ensured that his Account page shows Shadows Rising as his club.

Derek places an order for a variety of products on the Primal Forge website, for a total value of ?100.00 excluding delivery charges.

As soon as the order is confirmed and dispatched Primal Forge adds ?5.00 to the Shadows Rising account.

The next time that Shadows Rising logs into their Club Account, they will be able to see a credit balance on their account, and whose orders have contributed to it. They can use this credit at any time they wish. Looking at their account they can see that 20 of their club members have placed orders with Primal Forge, for various amounts which have resulted in total credits to their account of ?85.00

They decide that they need a few new weapons to replace their current stock, and place an order which would normally cost them ?50.00 (including their 10% club discount). At the checkout they can choose to use some of their current ?85.00 credit to pay for the weapons, thereby only leaving the delivery cost to pay! Any unused credit is carried over for them to use on future orders.
